Arquebus

Arquebus is weapon 6 of 35 for the Archer, and it drops in Dungeon, Atlans.

Lore

The Arquebus is an odd weapon, neither bow nor crossbow: a contraption of wood and metal that hurls shots with a thunderous bang. It was invented by curious artisans who mixed powder and alchemy, and for a long time traditional archers eyed it with suspicion.

Even so, the Archer who learns to use it discovers a new kind of power in every shot. It falls from Gorgon, boss of the Dungeon, and from the creatures that dwell in the deep waters of Atlans.

Forging and refining

At the Blacksmith, Upgrade tab, the item goes from +0 to +6 with Jewel of Bless (PT) (always succeeds) and from +6 to +15 with Jewel of Soul (the chance drops at each level; on failure it loses 1 level, never below +6). Each + multiplies the whole piece (+15 makes it 3.23 times stronger). From +16 to +25 is the Ancestral Upgrade (PT), which burns Ancient items. In the Migrate tab, the whole + carries over to the Nightmare or Godlike version of the same item.
