Golden Scarab
Companion from Tarkan. Discovered on reaching its home region.
Lore
The Escaravelho Dourado is a gold-shelled beetle from the deserts of Tarkan. The ancient sand peoples saw it as a sign of good fortune and carved its likeness on temple doors, long before the Night of the Broken Seal.
It is a patient hunter: it burrows under the sand, waits, and leaps on its prey with sharp pincers. Its shell gleams like a new coin in the sun, and heroes who find one often say their luck has finally changed sides.

Pets can go on expeditions and come back with Gold, Essence and Seals. Longer expeditions require more Stars.
