Short Bow
Short Bow is weapon 1 of 35 for the Archer, and it drops in Lorencia.
Lore
The Short Bow is every Archer's first bow, cut from a yew branch in Lorencia's hills and strung with braided gut. Small and light, it rides on the back without slowing a sprint, and it was meant for hunting rabbits, not monsters.
Even so, it is with this bow that the Archer learns to hit the horde from afar, before it gets close. It falls from the creatures of Lorencia's fields, where every marksman takes their first shots.

The same item drops on Hard and Hardcore as Nightmare (+40% to flat attributes and +30% to % bonuses). On Hardcore, very rarely, it comes as Godlike (+80%) by letter.

Forging and refining
At the Blacksmith, Upgrade tab, the item goes from +0 to +6 with Jewel of Bless (PT) (always succeeds) and from +6 to +15 with Jewel of Soul (the chance drops at each level; on failure it loses 1 level, never below +6). Each + multiplies the whole piece (+15 makes it 3.23 times stronger). From +16 to +25 is the Ancestral Upgrade (PT), which burns Ancient items. In the Migrate tab, the whole + carries over to the Nightmare or Godlike version of the same item.
