Voltcoil Serpent is a monster of the melee type found in Trono da Tempestade.
Lore
The Voltcoil Serpent is a draconic serpent that lives coiled around the natural lightning rods of Trono da Tempestade, metal peaks where bolts strike without end. It absorbs every discharge and stores the energy in the coils of its body, which glow blue in the dark.
It attacks up close, wrapping around the hero and releasing its stored electricity in short, painful shocks. The longer it stays coiled, the stronger the shock; breaking free of its grip quickly is a matter of survival. The bolts that strike near it seem to obey it, bending toward its body.

Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2× on the Elite, 4× on the Champion and 8× on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).
