Monster
Dread Death Angel
Dread Death Angel is a monster of the melee type found in Kalima 6.
Lore
The Dread Death Angel is the fallen angel Kundun chose to watch over the road to his throne. Unlike its kin in the other circles, it did not lose the light of its wings: that light was dyed black, and now casts shadows instead of brightness.
When it attacks, the shadows stretch across the ground and the hero feels surrounded. Then the angel swoops down and fights up close with wide sweeps of its scythe. The trick is not to look at the shadows: only the real blade can wound.

On Hard items drop as Nightmare (+40% to flat attributes and +30% to % bonuses); on Hardcore they also drop as Nightmare, and once in a while, very rarely, a Godlike (+80%) comes, delivered by letter.
Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2× on the Elite, 4× on the Champion and 8× on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).
