Boss
Muff
Muff is a boss of the agile type found in Debenter.
Lore
Muff is the old pet of Debenter's court, a soft-furred, big-eyed creature that lived in the palace halls. The servants used to feed it sweets. The rotten mana turned the little thing into a predator the size of a horse, but the affectionate name stuck.
It is far too fast for its size. It runs in circles, leaps from the columns and strikes in short bursts, always from a different side. When it finds an opening, it unleashes Predatory Combo, a string of clawing and biting that leaves no time to breathe.
Special attack
Predatory Combo: every 3 attacks, Muff hits for 141% of its normal damage and ignores 5% of your defense. Loot focus: Weapons / Boots (Advanced).

Drops
As a boss, Muff drops equipment up to Ancient, sometimes from the family after the one the map's monsters drop, and has a higher chance of jewels (Bless, Soul, Chaos). See the item list by class on the map's page: Debenter.

On Hard items drop as Nightmare (+40% to flat attributes and +30% to % bonuses); on Hardcore they also drop as Nightmare, and once in a while, very rarely, a Godlike (+80%) comes, delivered by letter.
Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2× on the Elite, 4× on the Champion and 8× on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).
