Monster
Old Crimson Minos
Old Crimson Minos is a monster of the melee type found in Old Kethotum.
Lore
The Old Crimson Minos is an elder bull-man of Old Kethotum, keeper of the stone mazes that cut through the ruins of the ancient city. Its horns are worn and chipped, but every chip tells the story of an intruder who never got through.
It fights up close, charging with its head lowered and swinging a heavy axe as soon as it reaches the hero. It is not quick, but every clash with it is a test of endurance: mistiming a dodge costs dearly. Whoever brings it down usually finds the paths of the mazes much clearer.

Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2× on the Elite, 4× on the Champion and 8× on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).
