Monster
Bahamut of Abyss
Bahamut of Abyss is a monster of the melee type found in Atlans Abyss.
Lore
The Bahamut of Abyss is a sea serpent from the deepest trenches of Atlans Abyss, where sunlight has never reached. Its ancestors swam peacefully through the coral gardens of the sunken kingdom, but the rotten mana sank down the cold currents and left them larger, darker and hungrier.
It attacks up close, coiling around the hero and biting with needle-thin teeth. It hunts in schools with others of its kind, circling the prey through the water before closing the ring. Alone it falls quickly; the danger is letting the whole school close the circle at once.

Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2× on the Elite, 4× on the Champion and 8× on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).
