Monster
Cyclops
Cyclops is a monster of the melee type found in Dungeon.
Lore
The Cyclops is a one-eyed giant that the Dungeon's ancient kingdom kept in chains to turn the wheels of its water pumps. When the guards died and the rotten mana ate through the chains, it was left free, furious and with no one to obey.
It fights in melee with an iron club made from a broken gear. Its swings are slow but heavy, and its single eye sees far in the dark, so it is hard to catch by surprise. It still drags a length of chain fastened to its ankle, scraping along the floor with every step.

On Hard items drop as Nightmare (+40% to flat attributes and +30% to % bonuses); on Hardcore they also drop as Nightmare, and once in a while, very rarely, a Godlike (+80%) comes, delivered by letter.
Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2× on the Elite, 4× on the Champion and 8× on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).
