Monster
Bone Scorpion
Bone Scorpion is a monster of the agile type found in Karutan.
Lore
The Bone Scorpion is a dead scorpion that walks again on the sands of Karutan. The skeletons of these creatures lay scattered across the desert, bleaching in the sun, until the rotten mana rose through cracks in the ground and set them on their feet, bones clicking with every step.
With no venom left in its dry husk, it makes up for it with speed. It runs in packs that flank the hero from both sides and strike with their pincers in turn. A solid blow scatters the bones, but there is always another one coming behind. Caravan drivers avoid camping on the white sand, where the bones tend to sleep.

Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2× on the Elite, 4× on the Champion and 8× on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).
