Monster and boss
Gore Tantalose
Gore Tantalose is a boss of the melee type found in Gore Tarkan.
Lore
The Gore Tantalose is the boss of Gore Tarkan, a many-armed giant that rose from the red sands. The desert nomads call it the endless hunger: they say it has devoured whole caravans and keeps searching for the next one, always hungrier than before.
It fights up close, whirling its arms and striking several times in a single breath. When it roars and raises every fist, Brutal Strike follows, a blow that throws up a cloud of scarlet sand. Standing before it is courage; standing still is a mistake.
Special attack
Brutal Strike: every 4 attacks, Gore Tantalose hits for 161% of its normal damage. Loot focus: Balanced (Endgame).

Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2× on the Elite, 4× on the Champion and 8× on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).
