Monster
Bow Scout
Bow Scout is a monster of the ranged type found in Crywolf.
Lore
The Bow Scout is the archer of Balgass' army besieging Crywolf. Hidden in the trees around the fortress, it watches the walls day and night, and has brought down many messengers trying to ask Lorencia for aid. Its arrows are fletched with black feathers so they never gleam under the moon.
It fights from range, loosing precise arrows from the shadows. It changes position after every shot, making a counterattack difficult. Defenders advise advancing in a zigzag and never standing still in the open. Crywolf's guards learned to count the arrows flying over the wall to guess how many archers hide outside.

On Hard items drop as Nightmare (+40% to flat attributes and +30% to % bonuses); on Hardcore they also drop as Nightmare, and once in a while, very rarely, a Godlike (+80%) comes, delivered by letter.
Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2× on the Elite, 4× on the Champion and 8× on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).
