Monster
Gigantis
Gigantis is a monster of the melee type found in Kanturu Ruins.
Lore
Gigantis is a grey-skinned giant that wanders the crumbling courtyards of Kanturu Ruins. Its kind were brought down from the mountains to haul the blocks of the city walls in exchange for food and shelter. After the Night of the Broken Seal no one came back to pay them, and the giants stayed to guard the stones as if they were their own.
It fights hand to hand, slowly and with great force. Every swing of its fist or club raises dust and knocks smaller foes off balance. It does not chase far, but anyone who steps within reach of its arms feels the weight of an entire wall.

On Hard items drop as Nightmare (+40% to flat attributes and +30% to % bonuses); on Hardcore they also drop as Nightmare, and once in a while, very rarely, a Godlike (+80%) comes, delivered by letter.
Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2× on the Elite, 4× on the Champion and 8× on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).
