Monster
Splinter Wolf
Splinter Wolf is a monster of the agile type found in Kanturu Ruins.
Lore
The Splinter Wolf is a wolf of the Kanturu Ruins, the remains of a civilisation that built mana-driven machines. The region's wolves took shelter among the broken gears; the rotten mana leaking from the machines made shards of crystal and metal sprout across their bodies.
It hunts in packs and at speed, racing through the rubble and attacking from several sides. The shards bristling from its fur cut with every lunge, and the pack vanishes into the ruins before a hero can strike back.

Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2× on the Elite, 4× on the Champion and 8× on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).
