Monster
Burning Lava Giant
Burning Lava Giant is a monster of the tank type found in Vulcanus.
Lore
The Burning Lava Giant is a giant of molten rock that rises from the craters of Vulcanus. Lorencia's scholars believe the heat of the Titan sleeping beneath the volcano has always shaped creatures like it, but they used to sink back into the lava in peace. The rotten mana kept them standing, and furious.
It is a tank: its hardened crust shields a glowing core and withstands many blows. It attacks slowly, with fists that splash embers across the ground. Near it the air shimmers with heat, and the fight is always a long one. When it finally falls, its crust splits and the fire inside flows back into the crater.

Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2× on the Elite, 4× on the Champion and 8× on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).
