Area 51

Sanctuary of Aquilas

Sanctuary of Aquilas is area 51 of 51 in Continent of Legend. It requires level 350 β€’ 3 resets, has 3 monster types and the boss Aquila Magician.

Lore

Sanctuary of Aquilas is a sanctuary of golden marble atop the highest mountain on the Continent, where stone eagles mark the entrance and the wind sings between the columns. It was the last refuge of the order that served the Archangels, guardians sworn to protect the place where the chains of the Seal were forged. Few ever reach it, and those who do feel the weight of the whole world's history.

The guardians of Aquilas resisted the rotten mana longer than any other people. But cut off for generations with no word from the world below, they came to believe everyone down there had been corrupted. Now they attack any traveler, certain they are protecting the sanctuary. The irony is bitter: the Archangels' last faithful have become one more obstacle in the heroes' path.

Aquila Warrior fights up close with golden spears and shields, while Aquila Gunner fires projectiles from the sanctuary's balconies. Aquila Magician casts spells from a distance, shielded by the others. The eldest Aquila Magician guards the hall where the chains of the Seal once hung. Its Arcane Blast is pure light, almost holy, and all the more frightening for it.

Monsters in Sanctuary of Aquilas

The horde of Sanctuary of Aquilas comes in waves: the first ones on the list show up in the early stages and the last ones near the boss. The numbers are the reference values, without Reset; with each Reset the monsters get stronger.

Frequently asked questions

How do stages work?

Each map has 10 stages (the little bars on the area card). You advance by defeating the horde.

On stage 10 the map boss shows up by itself. Beat it with ADVANCE on and you move to the next map.

What are the Hard and Hardcore modes?

On the Map (πŸ—ΊοΈ WORLD button) there are 3 cards at the top: NORMAL, HARD and HARDCORE. Tap a locked card to see what you still need to open it.

  • HARD: opens at 10 resets. The same 51 maps, stronger, and every item that drops is Nightmare: the same item as in Normal with 30% more base stats (Γ—1.3). If you die, you go back one map (from Hard 1, to Normal).
  • HARDCORE: opens when you beat the Hard 51 boss (Hardcore 1 asks for 300 resets). Items drop as Nightmare and, very rarely, a Godlike comes: 70% more base stats (Γ—1.7), delivered by letter. If you die, you go back one map.
  • Each boss beaten in a mode opens the next map and gives a Mark (+0.3% against monsters).
  • At the BLACKSMITH, Migrate tab, an item's whole + moves to the same Nightmare or Godlike item.
What is "After the boss"?

It's in BATTLE ORDERS, on the BATTLE screen, and decides what happens when the boss falls:

  • ADVANCE: go to the next area (the default and recommended).
  • REPEAT: redo the same area's route, good for farming.
I can't beat the boss. Now what?
  1. Spend all unused points (SEE DETAILS β€Ί ATTRIBUTES).
  2. Wear your best INVENTORY items and repair broken ones at the BLACKSMITH.
  3. Upgrade your skills (SEE DETAILS β€Ί SKILLS β€Ί UPGRADE).
  4. Refine your equipment at the BLACKSMITH.
  5. Lock an earlier stage and hunt for a while to level up.
