Area 45
Ignis Volcano
Ignis Volcano is area 45 of 51 in Continent of Legend. It requires level 283 • 2 resets, has 3 monster types and the boss Magma Sorcerer.
Lore
Ignis Volcano is a living volcano, younger and more violent than Vulcanus, its slopes cut by rivers of lava between slabs of black stone. The sky above it is always choked with ash, and the ground crackles underfoot as if something were stirring below. The old kingdoms used its craters as arenas, where gladiators fought before crowds that came from all over the Continent.
When the Seal broke, the arenas were still full. Rotten mana rose with the lava and fused with the fighters and with the fire mages watching from the stands. Nobody left the way they came in. The gladiators became statues of molten rock that keep on fighting, and the mages began to command the flames as if they were an army of their own.
Magma Gladiator wears a shell of stone that withstands blow after blow; Magma Hook fights up close with glowing hooks, dragging in anyone who gets too near. Behind them, Magma Sorcerer hurls fire from afar. A Magma Sorcerer older than the rest rules the craters from the top of the cone, and when it raises its staff it unleashes Arcane Blast, a flash that sends lava leaping from the cracks.
Monsters in Ignis Volcano
The horde of Ignis Volcano comes in waves: the first ones on the list show up in the early stages and the last ones near the boss. The numbers are the reference values, without Reset; with each Reset the monsters get stronger.

Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2× on the Elite, 4× on the Champion and 8× on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).

Frequently asked questions
How do stages work?
Each map has 10 stages (the little bars on the area card). You advance by defeating the horde.
On stage 10 the map boss shows up by itself. Beat it with ADVANCE on and you move to the next map.
What are the Hard and Hardcore modes?
On the Map (🗺️ WORLD button) there are 3 cards at the top: NORMAL, HARD and HARDCORE. Tap a locked card to see what you still need to open it.
- HARD: opens at 10 resets. The same 51 maps, stronger, and every item that drops is Nightmare: the same item as in Normal with 30% more base stats (×1.3). If you die, you go back one map (from Hard 1, to Normal).
- HARDCORE: opens when you beat the Hard 51 boss (Hardcore 1 asks for 300 resets). Items drop as Nightmare and, very rarely, a Godlike comes: 70% more base stats (×1.7), delivered by letter. If you die, you go back one map.
- Each boss beaten in a mode opens the next map and gives a Mark (+0.3% against monsters).
- At the BLACKSMITH, Migrate tab, an item's whole + moves to the same Nightmare or Godlike item.
What is "After the boss"?
It's in BATTLE ORDERS, on the BATTLE screen, and decides what happens when the boss falls:
- ADVANCE: go to the next area (the default and recommended).
- REPEAT: redo the same area's route, good for farming.
I can't beat the boss. Now what?
- Spend all unused points (SEE DETAILS › ATTRIBUTES).
- Wear your best INVENTORY items and repair broken ones at the BLACKSMITH.
- Upgrade your skills (SEE DETAILS › SKILLS › UPGRADE).
- Refine your equipment at the BLACKSMITH.
- Lock an earlier stage and hunt for a while to level up.
