Area 47

Tormenta Island

Tormenta Island is area 47 of 51 in Continent of Legend. It requires level 330 β€’ 2 resets, has 3 monster types and the boss Storm Fiend.

Lore

Tormenta Island is a rocky isle ringed by a sea that never calms, trapped at the heart of an eternal storm. Lightning strikes the cliffs without pause, and the waves rise so high they soak the tops of the towers. Before the war a lighthouse stood there, guiding ships away from the reefs, kept by an order of wardens who never left their post.

On the Night of the Broken Seal the lighthouse went dark. The storm that followed never left, fed by rotten mana rising from the ocean floor. The wardens were stranded on the island with no boats and no light, and little by little the tempest got inside them. They became creatures of wind and lightning that move like gusts and strike before the thunder is heard.

Storm Guard defends the cliffs and fights up close with spears crackling with electricity. Storm Reaper and Storm Fiend are faster and attack in packs, appearing and vanishing in the rain. The fiercest of them, a Storm Fiend who made the dead lighthouse its throne, commands the entire island. Its Predatory Combo is a chain of blows so swift it keeps pace with the lightning itself.

Monsters in Tormenta Island

The horde of Tormenta Island comes in waves: the first ones on the list show up in the early stages and the last ones near the boss. The numbers are the reference values, without Reset; with each Reset the monsters get stronger.

Special enemies pay more: the Elite drops an item 38% of the time, the Champion 70% and the Ancient Monster 100%; Champion and Ancient Monster raise the item's rarity by 1 level. The jewel chance is 2Γ— on the Elite, 4Γ— on the Champion and 8Γ— on the Ancient Monster. Each Reset also raises the jewel chance a little. See Special enemies (PT).

Frequently asked questions

How do stages work?

Each map has 10 stages (the little bars on the area card). You advance by defeating the horde.

On stage 10 the map boss shows up by itself. Beat it with ADVANCE on and you move to the next map.

What are the Hard and Hardcore modes?

On the Map (πŸ—ΊοΈ WORLD button) there are 3 cards at the top: NORMAL, HARD and HARDCORE. Tap a locked card to see what you still need to open it.

  • HARD: opens at 10 resets. The same 51 maps, stronger, and every item that drops is Nightmare: the same item as in Normal with 30% more base stats (Γ—1.3). If you die, you go back one map (from Hard 1, to Normal).
  • HARDCORE: opens when you beat the Hard 51 boss (Hardcore 1 asks for 300 resets). Items drop as Nightmare and, very rarely, a Godlike comes: 70% more base stats (Γ—1.7), delivered by letter. If you die, you go back one map.
  • Each boss beaten in a mode opens the next map and gives a Mark (+0.3% against monsters).
  • At the BLACKSMITH, Migrate tab, an item's whole + moves to the same Nightmare or Godlike item.
What is "After the boss"?

It's in BATTLE ORDERS, on the BATTLE screen, and decides what happens when the boss falls:

  • ADVANCE: go to the next area (the default and recommended).
  • REPEAT: redo the same area's route, good for farming.
I can't beat the boss. Now what?
  1. Spend all unused points (SEE DETAILS β€Ί ATTRIBUTES).
  2. Wear your best INVENTORY items and repair broken ones at the BLACKSMITH.
  3. Upgrade your skills (SEE DETAILS β€Ί SKILLS β€Ί UPGRADE).
  4. Refine your equipment at the BLACKSMITH.
  5. Lock an earlier stage and hunt for a while to level up.
